the piece at its core is inspired by classic bootleg shirts, and a nod to Takahiro Miyashita's work at Number (N)ine. bringing his "bullet hole" design feature to modern age, and reinterpreting it here as a reference to Bowie's known smoking habit. whilst also carrying a personal message, as a tribute to my mother: her smoking habits, her music taste. and the way she introduced me to ziggy.
